Was this a scam? Will I be hacked now?

Just be carefull the information you do give out and make sure you do not click on any links they send you. From the sounds of it they have not hacked you, but if you downloaded an attachement from email then run anti-virus scan. Do not open any more emails from them. As mentioned before they will probably ask you for debit/credit card details at some point.
